About Us
5280 Active Recovery was founded by Sollita Lucero, LCSW.
In bringing this organization to life she immediately thought of Gaby Salazar a Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant. Gaby is helping leading this organization with her clinical services. Sollita and Gaby met in High School, both growing up around addiction, mental health challenges and limited resources and they witnessed firsthand how unmet needs and silence around struggle can shape outcomes for youth and families. Their shared lived experiences, combined with professional training, drives a mission to break generational cycles and provide accessible, community based recovery support.
5280 Active Recovery focus is on movement, connection and real world engagement. We support adolescents and adults navigating mental health substance use, and co-occuring disorders. The programming is grounded in the belief that healing happens when people are met where they are, supported with dignity, and given tools like movement and community to build healthier, more positive lifestyles.
